It was incredibly liberating to work in ceramics but have the final form be photography. The pieces were not bound by the limitations of ceramics, where the final form is an object that needs to be fired, glazed, or of archival quality.
Left & Below These pieces were made by pouring, drizzling, and splattering wet clay into mounds and onto baking pans.
